Thebes overlooks the Mississppi River and is located just South
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and north of Cairo, Illinois. The First
Baptist Church of Thebes can be found on the corner of Sixth Street
and Oak Street.
FROM THE NORTH
OR SOUTH
Those coming
North or South on Interstate 55 can take Exit 95
at Cape
Girardeau MO and follow 74 east across the Bill
Emmerson Memorial Bridge into Illinois. Follow IL 146 East
to Route 3. Then take Route 3 South to Thebes. Come to the
corner of
sixth and oak to the First Baptist Church 601 Oak Street.
SOUTH ON ROUTE 57
Coming South on 57 you will take Exit 30 at Anna,
IL and follow 146 West through Anna and Jonesboro to Ware, IL.
At Ware take Route
3 South to Thebes and come to the Corner of 6th and Oak Street
to the First Baptist Church 601 Oak Street.
FROM CAIRO, ILLINOIS
Coming from Cairo you will take Route 3 North to Thebes. Then
come to the Corner of 6th and Oak Street to the First Baptist Church
601 Oak Street.
